The 2012 Tour
The 2012 tour will once again offer two routes this year. The ’12 tour offers our traditional five nights, six day tour and for those that want to see a little more, we have a eights nights, nine day extended tour. The first four days will be the same for both tours.
The tour works in conjunction with the local Chambers of Commerce and business leaders of towns they stop at and they always ask, “What can we do for you and your charities”? The idea of the tour is to bring people in from all over the U.S. and Canada to see the towns in the rural areas, “the towns without the glitz and glitter”, according to Big Al and Gary. While 50 – 80 classic cars stop by and visit ghost towns, have lunch on Main Street, or have a bar-b-que, the local charities enjoy the crowds that come buy to reminisce and remember “the good old days”.
